10 Of The Most Expensive Cars In The World
Owning a car is a dream for most of us. With apps like Ola and Uber ensuring we can get a cab at our doorstep within a matter of minutes, owning a car has lost its novelty. But, there are some cars we would surely want to own. If only we could afford them. Here are 10 of the most expensive cars in the world right now:
10. Aston Martin Valkyrie ($2.6 million)
The road version will be a little slower but should still be well over the 200 mph mark. More importantly, there are only 25 track versions of this car being manufactured and all of them have already been sold out. There are 125 road versions too, but chances are you won't be able to get your hands on one of them either.
9. Ferrari LaFerrari FXX-K ($2.7 million)
It has a K in the name because it uses a KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) to help maximise performance kind of like the F1 cars of today. Getting behind the wheel of this one would certainly be a delight.
8. Bugatti Chiron ($2.9 million)
There is a Chiron Sport currently in production and it should be made available by the end of this year. It costs an additional $400,000 but we're sure it will be worth it. If you have the cash to splash, though.
7. Ferrari Pininfarina Sergio ($3 million)
6. Mansory Vivere Bugatti Veyron ($3.4 million)
It goes without saying that it will be near impossible to get your hands on one of these cars even if you have the $3.4 million to spare.
5. W Motors Lykan Hypersport ($3.4 million)
The headlights of this car has jewels embedded in them according to the buyer's preference which kind of makes each one unique. There are just 7 in the world althoughwe're sure they could make more, for the right price.
4. Lamborghini Veneno ($4.5 million)
It is based off the Aventador and has a top speed of 221 mph. There are 9 Veneno's in the world with 8 of them having being sold and 1 on display at the Lamborghini factory.
3. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita ($4.8 million)
What separates the Trevita from regular CCX or CCXRs? Its diamond weave carbon fibre finish. At $4.8 million, we're sure it's worth it.
2. Mercedes-Benz Exelero ($8 million)
The car is classified as “rare”, which pretty much means each one is custom-made and there's never going to be enough of them around for the price to drop.
1. Rolls-Royce Sweptail ($13 million)
But, what else could this car have to deserve such a ludicrous price tag? The ultimate level of exclusivity, it's one-of-a-kind. You aren't going to see another anywhere in the world. Now that's something worth killing for!
